Graduate from soft to hard as a hierarchy to gradually build jaw strength - click to see all colors|||ARK's Y-Chew® and Y-Chew® XT sold together for a savings!  The blue and yellow Y-Chews are soft and chewy - recommended for mild chewers and/or those with limited jaw strength / oral tone.  The orange and turquoise Y-Chew XTs are firmer but still chewy - recommended for moderate and/or those who exert more jaw pressure.

Use this sampler pack to see which resiliency suits your needs. Or, start with the soft one and graduate to the harder one to gradually build oral strength.  Both of these oral motor chew tools exercise the lips, tongue, cheeks, and especially the jaw, allowing the mouth to learn and grow strong through oral exploration. They can also be used:

    • As an oral fidget for sensory seekers craving oral input and stimulation
    • As a safe alternative to biting/chewing on fingers, shirts, and other hazardous non-food items
    • To decrease thumb sucking, tooth grinding, and finger/knuckle biting
    • To practice biting/chewing skills without the risk of choking
    • To improve jaw strength, jaw stability, tongue movement, and other feeding skills
    • To satisfy the urge to chew for individuals who are fed through a g-tube
    • To build oral tone, strength, mobility, control, coordination, and endurance
    • To decrease oral sensitivities, oral defensiveness, and food aversions

Made in the USA  Made in the USA by ARK Therapeutic.  Medical grade, FDA compliant, NO lead, phthalates, PVC, BPA, or latex.

Caution Caution: This product is not a toy.  Although these chew tools are sturdy and durable, no chew tool is indestructible.  Wear/tear may be expected given the nature of the intended use.  How long they last is typically equal to the amount and intensity of the chewing, as well as other variables (such as jaw strength, stress/anxiety levels, if other sensory strategies are in place, etc.).  While for some people a chew tool will last forever, for others with heavy/aggressive oral needs, they may go through it very quickly.  Please supervise at all times and replace if necessary if the item shows signs of wear and tear.  For the toughest Y-Chew®, click here.  Insider tip: encourage individuals to chew on all three extensions to more evenly distribute the chewing.

    • The handle allows for an easy grip, and the extensions on the top part of the "y" make it easy to reach the back molar area we do most of our chewing.
    • Each arm has a different texture: one smooth, one ribbed, and one with gentle bumps. The varied texture helps introduce new sensations and decrease oral aversions.
    • The handle measures 2½ inches and the extensions measure 1¾ and 1¼ inches respectively.
    • Made in the USA.

    1. These Y Chews are awesome!!

My daughter loves these! She will only use these so when I buy these, I always know they will be used!

    2. Good for the little ones

I have not used these until recently and they are very toddler friendly with color and shape. Would like to have them offered more to a package.

    3. Y-Chew

Great design for young children to explore with their mouths.

    4. Highly Recommend

My 5 month-old daughter loves the Y-chew. She has been using it for about a month and we don't go anywhere without it! It's easy for her to hold on to and effective in providing oral exploration even in the early stages! I also recommend the tri-chew!

    5. GREAT Product

What a great product! Each "leg" of the Y has a different size and texture and my son loves it. He's carried an ARK Grabber with him everywhere he goes for over a year, but as he's gotten older he seems to need a different kind of tool. The different sizes and textures on the Y-Chew (and the Tri-Chew, too!) seem to be just the change he needed. We don't go anywhere without our new Y-Chew!! I recommend it!
