ARK's Baby Guitar is designed to help parents and therapists assist babies in the early stages of oral development Use it to encourage sensory exploration and biting and chewing skills.  Simply place the loop in between the front of the baby's mouth, or the stem in between the molar area, and guide the jaw up and down to close.  This oral motor activity can help strengthen the mouth muscles and prepare them for speech and feeding skills later on.  The bumps and ridges on the stem resemble the strings/knobs of a real guitar, while also providing extra sensory input. Please note: the Baby Guitar is not for independent use.  Please directly supervise at all times.

The Baby Guitar comes in 2 density/toughness levels.  The standard level is soft and chewy. The XT level is firmer yet still chewy and pliable.

  • Measures about 4.7" tall, 3" wide, and .4" thick.  The stem is about .75" long.
  • Wash with mild soap and water.  Top-rack dishwasher safe.
  • Made in Columbia, SC, USA
  • Exact color hues may vary slightly
  • Each guitar is sold individually
  • Medical grade, FDA compliant, no lead, phthalates, PVC, BPA, or latex
