ARK's Sip-Tip® with One-Way Straws

Similar to the Cip-Kup™, the Sip-Tip® assists drinking for individuals with difficulties generating and maintaining suction. It can also make the transition from bottle feeding to cup feeding an easier transition. An individual can suck from the straw or can be helped by "pumping" the fluid up the straw with the flexible lid. Simply cover the vent hole with your finger and press down several times until the liquid reaches the desired height.

Each disposable one-way straw has a built-in valve that keeps the straw full of fluid, thereby reducing the air ingested and the effort required to drink (notice the juice staying at the top of the straw in the picture). The valve also slows the flow of fluid, which allows for more control over the quantity of fluid taken with each sip and helps to ensure that fluid is deposited in the front of the mouth. Users experience less coughing and choking while drinking with the Sip-Tip® and tend to consume more fluid. The lids snap on securely to minimize spillage, and the rigid, high-qualtiy tumblers have graduated marks to monitor fluid intake. The 1 Pack includes: 1 eight oz. tumbler, 1 spill-resistant lid, 10 one-way straws, and 1 *free* Lip Blok™ (3/4"). The Lip Blok™ decreases tongue protrusion and promotes correct tongue and lip position. The 3 Pack includes: 3 tumblers, 3 lids, 30 one-way straws, and 3 Lip Bloks™. All parts are dishwasher-safe and available separately. ARK's Sip-Tip® is made of medical grade materials that are FDA compliant and contain no lead, phthalates, PVC, BPA, or latex. It is not recommended that the assembly be used with carbonated beverages.
