ARK's Flexible Lip Blok™ Combo (1 of Each)

ARK's popular Lip Blok™ now comes in two flexible versions - firm and soft. The firm Lip Blok™ is made out of a firm yet flexible material. The soft Lip Blok™ is made out of a softer, more flexible material. The pliable material of both versions allows you to cut the mouthpiece to any desired length with a pair of scissors. They fit into most regular drinking straws and can also be pressed over Krazy Straws.

ARK's Lip Blok™ prevents individuals from biting the straw and/or inserting the straw too far into the mouth. Use these products to discourage tongue-thrusting, to promote tongue retraction, and to correct overall tongue position. They can also be helpful with tensing for controlled lip and tongue movement. Try varying the liquid consistencies to supplement your other intervention strategies for increasing sensory awareness, symmetry, coordination, graded control for liquids, jaw stability, and lip, tongue, and cheek function. Each Lip Blok™ is constructed of medical grade materials that are FDA compliant and contain no lead, phthalates, PVC, BPA, or latex. This combo includes 1 firm and 1 soft Lip Blok™, cups and straws sold separately.

• ARK's Lip Blok™ work the mouth muscles naturally. Simply press the stem into any regular drinking straw, and you're set to go!
• Use the longest 3/4" Lip Blok™ first, then the 1/2", and finally the 1/4". This hierarchy allows individuals to slowly adjust to the shorter length, which in turn teaches them to insert less of the straw into the mouth. The flexible Lip Bloks can be cut to any of these lengths with a pair of scissors.
• Try varying the liquid consistencies to supplement your other intervention strategies for increasing sensory awareness, symmetry, coordination, graded control for liquids, jaw stability, and lip, tongue, and cheek function.
