ARK'S Grabber XT® is an Xtra Tough version of ARK's Grabber®. It is constructed of a firmer material, but remains chewy and resilient. The Grabber XT® not only allows individuals to exert lots of jaw pressure, but it also provides an excellent opportunity for jaw movement, tongue movement, and oral exploration. It is also a safe and durable alternative to tooth-grinding and/or chewing on hazardous non-food items. Each Grabber® is constructed of medical grade materials that are FDA compliant and contain no lead, phthalates, PVC, BPA, or latex. The resilient material is solid with no through holes or crevices that could harbor bacteria or saliva.
MADE in the USA out of medical grade, FDA compliant materials that contain NO lead, phthalates, PVC, BPA, or latex.
Caution: this therapeutic tool should be used under adult supervision at all times.
- The Grabber® has a "built-in" handle that makes it easy for the hand to hold.
- While all surfaces can be chewed on, the extension of the Grabber® allows individuals to reach areas further back on the tongue and between the gums and teeth - giving them that extra proprioceptive input that they need.
- The Grabber® measures 5 inches lengthwise, and just under 2 inches across the loop/handle.
- The Grabber® comes in several different sizes, textures, scents, and resiliencies to best fit each individual's needs.
- The Grabber XT® is constructed of a firmer material for individuals who exert more jaw pressure.
- The Textured Grabber® has various bumps and surfaces to simulate the textures of real food.
- The Scented Grabbers enhance interest by simulating the smell of real food.
- The Baby Grabber® has a shorter stem for those smaller mouths.
- Made in the USA! The Grabber® is manufactured in the United States from medical grade materials that are FDA compliant and contain no lead, phthalates, PVC, BPA, or latex.
The Grabber® can be used:
- As an alternative to biting/chewing on fingers, shirts, pencils, and other hazardous non-food items
- To decrease pica, thumb-sucking, and tooth-grinding
- To build oral strength and tolerance
- To calm and soothe individuals through oral sensory input
- To de-sensitize the mouth for individuals with oral defensiveness and food aversions

When my son is teething this is the only teether I have found that is small enough to reach his back teeth, soft enough for him to bite without puncturing and easy for him to hold and manipulate. I probably wasted money on 20 teethers before his school suggested this one. |

Our daughter has Cri du chat syndrome. She grinds her teeth alot. We were introduced to the Ark Grabbers from her school. They are a true God send. I recommend them highly. We just recently bought the orange texture ones. They are suppose to be stronger. We were hoping they would last longer for her but they didn't. Next supply we will be buying the Green Ark Grabber XTs again. We get them in the 12 pack. It really helps her. |

Our son is multiply disabled and as such has a deep need for oral sensory input. Grabbars are the only chewies we've found that my son will use without resorting to chewing on his clothes, fingers, etc. They seem to be just the right feel for him (not too hard, not too soft and he's able to get them all the way back to his molars) and as such are his go to chewies. |

My daughter has Down Syndrome. She seeks oral sensory input. So we provide that w/ these chewies. It keeps her from putting dangerous items in her mouth or from chewing on her fingers. This chewie is very durable and is the longest lasting for our little chewer. We attach it to her clothing with a binkie clip. It is invaluable. |

The Grabber XT is the most durable chewie that I have found. It holds up to my 10 year old. I tried many other brands and found that they would break apart and tear. The Grabber XT is the perfect shape to reach those molars that are coming in as well. I wont buy anything else! |
