One of the "beefiest" pendants; Click to see all 12 colors|||ARK’s Dino-Bite™ Chewable Jewelry Necklace is the coolest new chewelry on the block! This "roarsome" T-Rex design is sure to be a hit with dinosaur fans of any age. Measuring in at approximately 1.5 x 2.5 inches and just under half an inch thick, this is a pretty 'beefy' chew pendant with a lot of 'meat' on its bones. It's a great option for those who prefer chewing with their pre-molars and/or front teeth (for more slender options that reach the back molars, click here). Use this oral sensory solution as a safe alternative to chewing on pencils, shirts, fingers, etc. and to help calm, focus, and self-regulate. Like all other ARK chewelry, it's made in South Carolina, USA and comes in 3 color-coded toughness levels:
Choose your option from the menu above. Each pendant is sold individually with its own breakaway necklace cord. Color hues may vary slightly. Each pendant measures about 1.5" at the widest part, 2.5" at the tallest part, and just under half an inch in thickness.
*Please note: because of its beefier shape, each level of the Dino-Bite™ may feel tougher than the same toughness level in one of our more slender shapes. So for example, if you like the Krypto-Bite™ in the middle XT level, you may want to order the soft Dino-Bite™.
Designed, manufactured, and assembled in the USA by ARK Therapeutic. Medical grade, FDA compliant, NO lead, phthalates, PVC, BPA, or latex.
Caution: This product is not a toy. The clasp and cord are not intended for chewing. Contains small parts that may pose a choking hazard - direct supervision required. Recommended for ages 5 years and up. Although these chew tools are sturdy and durable, no chew tool is indestructible. Wear/tear may be expected given the nature of the intended use. How long they last is typically equal to the amount and intensity of the chewing, as well as other variables (such as jaw strength, stress/anxiety levels, if other sensory strategies are in place, etc.). While for some people a chew tool will last forever, for others with heavy/aggressive oral needs, they may go through it very quickly. Please supervise at all times, regularly inspect the chew, and replace if necessary if the item shows signs of wear and tear. For the longest lasting chew tool overall, click here.
My stepson LOVES his dino bite and now he doesn't chew on and ruin any of his other toys. Plus it shipped very quickly and arrived in the same week I ordered it. I'm very pleased with my purchase and will be coming back whenever I need another sensory chew toy. :) Ayla
I bought the red one for my son who is a nail biter he loves it he still bites on his nails so I constantly have to remind him about the necklace. He plays with it in school so that gets the teacher's attention. Very well-made arrived on time! Vrm
This is a great alternative to replacing clothing that was getting destroyed by the oral stimulation that was needed by the student! Linda eller
My son is autistic and has oral sensory issues and would suck on his t-shirt or his fingers since he has had his necklace that has all stopped!! Thank you for a great product!

We got this for our son and we saw with in one week his chewing on his clothes and other items stop. I also have told my work about this product and we are telling all of our clinics about this product. Christina Johnson
I think most boys loves dinosaurs, so this dino chew is a hit with our son. He is really into textures right now, so this design gave him another safe option to explore. We are returning customers & have many of the chew designs. This new one was a hit! Thanks ARK for all your wonderful & safe chews!! I highly recommend this company & this product. Tarena Boggs
We have been trying and trying to get my 4yr old son to stop sucking on his fingers constantly, and chewing on his tshirts and toys! Nothing was working, and everyone was just getting frustrated. This necklace has worked wonders, and everyone is happy now. Ellen Ingersoll
I'm the chewer, and I love this! It's tactile yet tough and keeps me from relentlessly grinding my teeth. My best friend also loves hers! Susan Steiner
My 6 year old (ADHD and anxiety) enjoys this item.
It's fashioned in a way that he doesn't have to feel embarrassed about needing something to gnaw on as an outlet.
He enjoys the texture and I enjoy keeping his shirts intact. Stephanie
I was a hesitant first time buyer looking to meet my son's request for something to chew on. He asked for something either dinosaur or dragon related and I was so excited to find ARK Therapeutics! I purchased both the standard and the XT Dino and the standard is the right amount of chew for my son. He's been chewing it for a couple of weeks and so far it has held up surprisingly well. Not only that, but I needed to make a last minute change to my order -- and they were able to help me out. I've since ordered a second dino and we are going to try the textured brick. I recommend both the product and the company. Tonya Meyers
My son was thrilled to receive the Dino-bite necklace! The fact that it was shaped like a dinosaur makes it his favorite. It is thick and just the right toughness for him to chew on with all his teeth. The only thing that he didn't like about it was that the cord irritated his neck when he wasn't wearing a collared shirt. Elizabeth Lewis
My Bug loves them! I love being able to give him another chewing option! Only wish they were a bit less expensive, especially since we bought 4 at one time. Jenn Stiger
I choose the lime green Dino to start out with figuring that a medium is a good start to see if my son would like it harder or softer. My son is now 11 has a huge oral fixation. He was that kid that had his binki until 5 he would of had it longer if he could. Lol. The reason I got this is because my son is very advanced for his age. Chewing on something is calming for him and helps him focus and concentrate. Plus it's a win win because it saves his shirts, pencils, pens, almost anything he can chew. He was very excited to hear I bought it and has told me loves chewing on ithe in class and that he feels calmer when using it. He admits it's kind of too big he wishes it was a little smaller and would lIke to try the bite saber one next in a soft color.
One happy parent. Nicole
My son bits in his lower lip/mouth area a lot, has a tendency to spit slowly, and drool at times. This is perfect for him. It's taking some time to get used to of course, since he is used to just his body, but it's helping him. He's becoming a bit more aware of what his mouth is doing, and he is beginning to chew on his lips a bit less. I spoke with my sons speech therapist about this, and she also agrees that it's a fantastic thing for him to have. It allows his brain to make more of a conscious connection with his mouth and he is now wearing it at school!
Thank you sooooo much for making this product. Briana
My son loves it!! Keeps him from biting his nails and gives him something to chew on when he is stressed other than pencils and toys Evone Gillespie
This is my sons favorite! His tshirts finally get a break lol Tessa
My son took to this necklace immediately and he no longer chews on his clothes. I have already recommended this item to friends that are going through the same struggles. I am sure they will love it as much as I do. Jana
My son is 3 almost 4 & it is very long on him. He refuses to use it for its intended purpose because he doesn't want to bite T-Rex but my 18 month old loves to chew on it but I do not let her wear it. Great quality & durability & other than needed a shorter necklace I would recommend it.
**Note from ARK: Hey folks! The necklace can be shortened if you'd like. Here are the steps:
1. Unclasp the clasp
2. Scoot the cord out of one end of the clasp (this is easier to do with the female half)
3. Re-tie the knot at a lower spot
4. Trim off the excess cord
Then you're good to go :)
We got the green dinosaur chew necklace and it is his absolute favorite! My son is obsessed with dinosaurs lately and it’s a solid, thick piece that has held up well. I can barely see chew marks which is a testament to how tough it is. Jenni

ARK chew tools come in 3 color-coded toughness levels:
Usually we recommend going with the softest/standard level by default. Unless someone chews through or causes damage to anything else they chew on (chews through pencils, chews holes in shirts, etc.), in which case the XT level would be longer lasting.
If someone does chew through things, it’s possible they may need the toughest XXT level eventually. XXT is super firm, though, so we don't always recommend getting it right off the bat (some people find it uncomfortable chewing on something that firm).
So XXT is usually best either for people who have chewed through the XT level already, and/or for anyone who already likes chewing on very hard items - things like legos, hard plastic toys, wooden items, etc.
Heads up: Designs that are wider and "beefier" will feel tougher than designs that are more slender in the same toughness level. For example, the Dino-Bite in XT will feel tougher than the Krypto-Bite in XT.×
Probe Tip - This is the most versatile & popular tip attachment. It's bumpy on one side and striated on the other side for different levels of sensory input (the bumpy side provides more input than the striated side).
Mini Tip - This is a smaller version of the Probe Tip, designed for smaller mouths (about 2.5 years and under). This age recommendation is not a hard-and-fast rule though - we've seen younger kids use the Probe Tip and older individuals use the Mini Tip.
Preefer Tip - This tip attachment is rounded with ridges all along the circumference for when a "rolling" action is desired for a different kind of sensory input. Roll it over the lips, across the tongue, and inside the cheeks.
Fine Tip - This tip narrows down to a fine point, which makes it perfect for pinpointing very specific areas in the mouth.
Bite-n-Chew Tip - These tips are rounded and chewable, for practicing biting & chewing skills. The "extra long" versions are about an inch longer and a little skinnier, to make it easier to reach the back molars. The textured version has bumps for extra sensory input.
Bite Tube Tip - These tips are similar to the Bite-n-Chew Tip, but with a hollow center so that you can put puréed foods (applesauce, yogurt, etc.) inside the tip for functional biting & chewing practice. Once you bite down on the tip, you get 'rewarded' with a taste of food.
Spoon Tip - Great for feeding therapy and mealtimes, these attachments turn the Z-Vibe into a vibrating spoon! The smooth, gentle vibration can help "wake up" the mouth and decrease aversions. The textured version has bumps on the bottom of the spoon bowl to help stimulate the tongue and lower lip, and to help encourage the transition from puréed to more solid foods. The hard Spoon Tip is rigid, like a regular spoon. The soft Spoon Tip is flexible (still firm enough to hold food, but flexible enough to be gentle on the teeth if someone bites down on the spoon.
Tongue Tip - This tip can be used as a traditional tongue scraper to help establish good oral care. It can also be used to help establish the concept of tongue lateralization and elevation (hold the Tongue Tip vertically in front of the mouth and ask the individual to put the tip of their tongue inside the hole, then guide the tongue from side to side or up and down). You can also place the Tongue Tip flat on top of the tongue to provide input to a large surface area of the tongue (this tip has the largest "footprint" surface-area-wise).
Popette Tip - This tip attachment is an adaptor that lets you use lollipops with the Z-Vibe. Just twist the Popette Tip into the Z-Vibe handle, then press a lollipop into the Popette Tip. Lollipops are a fun way to get kids interested in sensory oral motor exercises.
Brush Tips - The soft version has gentle bristles for gum massage; the hard version has firmer bristles closer to that of a traditional toothbrush. These can be used to help get orally sensitive individuals more comfortable with oral care, so that they can eventually use regular toothbrushes, be more comfortable going to the dentist, etc.
Pencil - This attachment turns your Z-Vibe into a vibrating pencil! The vibration of the Z-Vibe is very smooth, so it doesn't create squiggly lines. Instead, it can help increase focus by providing more sensory input and awareness to the hand.
Pen - This attachment turns your Z-Vibe into a vibrating pen.
Crayon - And this attachment turns your Z-Vibe into a vibrating crayon.
Brick Tip - This tip attachment has large bumps on one side and small bumps on the other side for lots of varying sensory input while biting & chewing. It comes in 3 toughness levels for mild to moderate to avid chewing.×
