ARK's Tran-Quill™ Pencil

This set is similar to our Tran-Quill Pen™ Set, but with pencils instead! It's a great tool to work on writing skills. The soothing vibrations are felt in the hand, but do not affect the actual writing. Vibration helps many individuals focus and concentrate. Perfect for homework, note-taking, and more. The chewable "eraser" end is fun to chew on and can be easily replaced with another tip. Kit includes: 1 DnZ-Vibe®, 3 Bite-n-Chew Tips, 1 pencil adapter, 6 pencils, and 1 pencil sharpener, all in a handy Carry Case. The pencil adapter screws into the DnZ-Vibe® like every other tip, and the pencils fit nicely into the adapter. Carry Case colors may vary. The unit comes with a special Vibe Battery not available in stores. We recommend buying a spare.

ARK's products are made in the USA out of medical grade, FDA compliant materials that contain NO lead, phthalates, PVC, BPA, or latex.

Caution: this therapeutic tool should be used under adult supervision at all times. When changing tips and/or the battery, please use caution as the unit contains small parts that pose a choking hazard.

Excellent tool for oral motor sensory issues!, 11.21.2011

My son, who has sensory integration issues, has one DnZ-Vibe Pencil at school and one at home. Since putting this tool into his therapeutic repertoire, he can complete written work more easily and is able to focus on school work because of the oral-motor stimulation the tool provides. I even tried writing with the pencil, and my handwriting was much better- a great tool, and one that looks cool enough at school that my son is willing to use it.

The DnZ-Vibe with Tran-Quill Pencil attachment is a mainstay for my daughter with autism while doing her school work. She needs the oral motor input to concentrate and focus. Ordinary pencil toppers do not give enough input and are not sturdy enough as the DnZ-Vibe Tran-Quill Pencil. Her tutor and teachers say it is the only oral motor pencil solution that has worked well for classroom writing and worksheet tasks.
