A bumpy twist-on chewable bracelet and fidget|||Made in the USA, ARK's Brick Bracelet provides a safe, wearable, discreet, and cool solution for those who need to chew. It has a unique 'twist-on' style that makes it very easy to take on and off the wrist as needed for oral motor stim throughout the day. Because it's worn on the wrist, it's a particularly good option for those who can't wear necklaces and/or for those who chew on their sleeves. It can also be used as a sensory fidget (twist it, bend it, run your fingers over the tactile bumps, etc.), or even a mouthing tool for babies. Like all of our other chew tools, it comes in three different toughness levels:
Choose your options from the menu above. Each bracelet is sold and packaged individually. Color hues may vary slightly. Wear several at a time for cool color combinations and added calming weight to the wrists, and/or pair it with a Brick Stick neckace (sold separately) for a matching "chewelry" set.
Sizing: the small is recommended for a wrist circumference of under 5.5 inches, and the large for over 5.5 inches (approximately). However, this can vary depending on your fit preferences (whether you like to wear your bracelets looser or tighter). The bracelets can all flex, so the sizing is flexible.
Designed, manufactured, and assembled in the USA by ARK Therapeutic, each bracelet is medical grade, FDA compliant, and lead/phthalates/PVC/BPA/latex-free.
Caution: This product is not a toy. Recommended for ages 5-6 months and up through adults (no age limit) under adult supervision. Although these chew tools are sturdy and durable, no chew tool is indestructible. Wear/tear may be expected given the nature of the intended use. How long they last is typically equal to the amount and intensity of the chewing, as well as other variables (such as jaw strength, stress/anxiety levels, if other sensory strategies are in place, etc.). While for some people a chew tool will last forever, for others with heavy/aggressive oral needs, they may go through it very quickly. Please supervise at all times and replace if necessary if the item shows signs of wear and tear. For the longest lasting chew tool overall, click here.
Small dimensions (approximately):
Large dimensions (approximately):
As a general rule, the small is good for those with a wrist circumference of 5.5" or smaller. And the large is good for those with a wrist circumference of 5.5" or larger.
Because of the design, both sizes have the ability to stretch if needed, so there is some flexibility in the sizing. Many individuals can wear both sizes depending on whether they prefer their bracelets to have a tighter or looser fit.
I purchased this product for my son and he loves it. The only reason I can't give it a 5 is because it tore within 3 weeks so as a first time buyer I suggest you just purchase the XXT if your child is an avid chewer. But I do advise you to purchase this it's very good. Chynita
My son really enjoys the brick bracelet. He's a picker so this is the perfect thing to help him get through his day! Thank you ARK Michelle
Another great tool that has helped my son with focus during quiet time and anxiety. Has held up well so far but gets less use than the chew necklace. One thing I did notice is the constant removal off/on of it slightly stretches the bracelet so it can more easily fall off my sons wrist. Not sure there is a solution for that but Im glad I bought the smaller size for my 5 year old otherwise it would have been overly big once stretched.
Thanks again for a wonderful product! Again something else I'm recommending to others! Melinda
Great perfect for my 7 year old with ADHD and chews on everything. Wish they were sold in sets of three. My son has already lost two. Kimi
What a wonderful discovery Mary
My son has ADHD, Sensory, OCD, and Anxiety. He is always putting something in his mouth along with picking at himself. If there is any kind of sore to pick at he doesnt stop picking at it. His face and ears are always bloody from picking. I bought this bracelet to give him something else to pick at and bite. It has been great! His wounds are actually healing and he has been using it instead of himself as a "scratching post" he said. Melanie
We purchased two bracelets in teal and lime green (extra tough) for our kids. Our 4-year-old immediately said, "Cool! LEGO chewy!" She loves it. The 2-year-old sometimes complains that the bumps rub his lips / inside of mouth too much. He still uses it but I think he would prefer the smooth option better. We have several chewing products, including necklaces; these get used a lot. I initially worried these would be too tough for them, but I think my kids prefer the toughness of these bracelets over their other chewies. Mom
Our son loves the brick textured necklace but it has one major issue: the cord. Our son doesn't chew on the cord; however, he does take the necklace off, open the clasp, and swing it around by the cord in a whirling blue streak of doom. Just when I think I'm out of reach, he loses his grip on the cord and the necklace becomes a projectile... Usually aimed right for me. I appreciate how the necklace helps him but I can only get beaned so many times before the necklace has to be put away.
The bracelet looked clunky at first. I thought our son wouldn't want to wear it because it is thick and stiff. And I was partially right - he isn't often interested in wearing it but that's because he is constantly chewing it! He loves to "clip" the bracelet around his cheek, leaving half the bracelet in his mouth and half outside. The additional sensory input is exceptionally calming for him. He is a hard chewer and with this he can really get a solid grip and not worry about the bracelet falling out of his mouth the way the necklace does. On quieter moments he will just explore the brick texture with his tongue or lift and lower the bracelet along the inside and outside of his cheek. Doing so does leave a small, light redness on his cheek but it goes away quickly.
This bracelet has given him a way to remain more calm and focused in school. He is able to stand at his desk and listen, rather than wandering the room or stretching our across his desk. Thank you so much for creating this product - it is making a huge difference in our son's life! Mae
MY SON LOVES THIS AND THAT ITS LEGO IS TO COOL TO HIM!! HE USES IT TO HELP HIM SIT AND WATCH MOVIES IT GIVES HIM THE SENSORY INPUT HE NEEDS THANKS
The teal extra tough bracelet was great for my nearly 12 year old son. He loved it. Then he lost it at school. :-( He wants another. It did help with focus. I need to save to buy him a necklace. Maybe that will stay with him longer than 5 days. Those were 5 very happy days though... Laurel
This is such a surprisingly elegant & charming design! The sensory studs that make it so fun to chew also work amazingly well at being surprisingly stunning on the design, and they have a gender neutral appeal, they look like 'tough guy' studs as much as they look like elegant 'ladylike' stone settings, which is super awesome to me personally as both a design dork and an androgynous person! I'd be shocked that this was your first shot at a bracelet if I wasn't so endlessly impressed by everything you've all been creating for so long! I seriously have been wearing these everywhere (so many compliments, especially when they notice the matching brick-stick!) Charley
