I have used these swab sticks to introduce a lemony taste to the tongue and inside the cheeks with several pediatric clients. The swabs do not promote excessive saliva as a sugary option might do. These have been a good option for oral massage as well to the child who is very picky with intra-oral touch contact. I have wrapped the swab with gauze and this introduces another sensation while offering a lemony taste. |
