Our most popular Z-Vibe kit with a customizable set of 5 tips|||ARK's Travel Kit includes: 1 Z-Vibe® handle and 5 interchangeable tip attachments. The default options are: 1 Royal Blue handle, 1 Probe Tip, 1 Preefer Tip, 1 Mini Tip, 1 Hard Spoon Tip, and 1 Soft Spoon Tip (as pictured). However, you can customize any of these options using the pull-down menus above to create a custom sensory oral motor kit specific to your needs. For example, if you already have or don't need the Spoon Tips, try trading them out for a Fine Tip (to target specific areas in the mouth) and a Popette Tip (to use lollipops with your Z-Vibe). Click the "Options" tab above to learn more.
Each component of this kit is available separately, but you save between $9 to $18 (depending on which tips you choose) by buying them in a bundle here.
Please note: the unit comes with a special Vibe Battery not available in stores. We recommend buying a spare using the pull down menu above. A sturdy plastic storage case is also available as an optional add-on. To turn the unit on, simply twist the Switch Tip *just* until it starts to vibrate (please do not over-tighten). For more information on each individual tip, click here or see the "Options" tab above.
Caution: the Z-Vibe is NOT a toy. It is a therapeutic tool intended to be used by a professional therapist (or by parents trained by their therapist). It contains small parts (including a battery) that may pose a choking hazard: direct adult supervision is required at all times.
Designed with versatility in mind, there are over 35 (and counting) tip attachments available in various shapes, textures, and resiliencies. All of the standard and most popular tips are available as options for this kit.
With three different textures (smooth, bumpy, and striated), the Probe Tip is our most popular and versatile tip option for sensory oral motor stimulation and tactile cues.
The Mini Tip is the same design, only smaller for children under 2.5 years of age (depending on their mouth size).
The Preefer Tip is rounded for when a "rolling" action is desired.
The Fine Tip allows you to target very specific spots within the oral cavity.
The Spoon Tips are a must for feeding therapy.
The Textured Spoon Tips have gentle bumps under the spoon bowl for added tactile input.
The soft tip options are recommended for individuals with a bite reflex and/or sensory issues, as they are softer and have more "give."
The Bite-n-Chew Tips are designed for practicing biting, chewing, and oral motor skills.
The Popette Tip is an adaptor that lets you use lollipops, Toothettes, or DentaSwabs with the Z-Vibe.
The Tongue Tip has a hole in the center - have the individual put his/her tongue tip through the whole, then guide it from left to right to establish the concept of tongue lateralization, or up and down for elevation. It's also the largest tip, and thus can be placed flat on the tongue for the most sensory awareness.
My daughter was born with a genetic syndrome causing many medical issues early on in life. Due to this - she has severe oral aversion and has a feeding tube. She loves her z-vibe! I love the fact that I could customize this kit for our needs. The products are of great quality and very affordable for all the different tips that can come with this kit! Patti
I've shopped around quite a bit and this is the only site that allows you to choose which tips you want. I work with mostly older kids and so I just never need the mini tip offered in the standard travel kits. It's also the best priced kit that I found. Thanks for offering this! Molly C.
A customizable kit for the specific needs of my child! YES! Take your time to research each option and see what it will assist with! I love all the options we chose, and I'm considering buying a second kit for "on the go" so we are never without our favorite tools! Buy! You won't regret it! Abby K
This make your own kit allowed me to be able select the specific tips that meet all of my son's needs. It was delivered quickly and was exactly as described on the website. I highly recommend this product!! Jill S.
This has really helped my son re learn to eat and open his mouth Lacey
My daughter has trouble keeping food in her mouth but with the help of this spoon she is now pulling her tongue back and taking in solids with much more improvement. Ordering the whole kit is just like the therapy she receives when she sees her speech therapist so this tool keeps the sessions happening everyday Shameca
I've researched the price of z vibe kits from several vendors and Ark by far has the best price. The customizable option is wonderful for a starter kit or tailoring for a specific need. I received my package right away as well.
This kit has really been a godsend for my daughter, who has severe oral sensitivities and oral motor difficulties. We started using the Z-Vibe with the bite and chew tips, and now she can tolerate some of the more textured tips such as the preefer and probe. She only eats stage 1 and 2 baby foods right now, but we're going to use the textured spoons next (they have bumps on the back of them) to get her on more solid foods. I highly recommend this product for anyone with oral motor delays.
I've had this on my wishlist to try with my 9 year old who has a very limited diet and seeks oral sensory input almost constantly. He loved it right away. He chews through erasers and pencils to the extent it makes completing homework difficult. It really calmed and focused him to have it in his mouth at homework time, I love that there are so many options for tips and accessories. I wish I would have bought the bite and chew tips instead of the more specialized ones since We don't need to target a specific mouth area.
